The Project
Located in the heart of Melbourne, Marvel Stadium has welcomed in excess of 42 million fans through the gates since opening in 2000. Renowned for regularly staging AFL, A-League and BBL action under the famous retractable roof, Marvel Stadium has also hosted some of the biggest international sporting and entertainment events such as UFC, Soccer World Cup Qualifiers, International Rugby Union tests, U2, Taylor Swift, Foo Fighters, Justin Timberlake, AC/DC, Bon Jovi and Andre Rieu.
The Marvel Stadium upgrade represents a $225 million investment by the Victorian Government, providing a unique opportunity to revitalise Marvel Stadium as both a world class sports and entertainment venue, and a day-to-day destination within the City of Melbourne.
As part of this upgrade GJ Walker supplied a combination of ASH air handling units (AHUs) and CMLH fan coil units (FCUs). Complete with full AHRI certifications, they will also include EC fans, fitted lights wired to a switch and filters G4 and F8.
