The Project
The 300-bed Southern Queensland Correctional Centre (SQCC), is the State's newest prison. The centre provides high security placement accommodation for sentenced and remand women that are classified as high or low security. It has 104 secure and 196 residential beds.
For this iconic project the team supplied 182 air handling units in a combination of ASH air handling units (AHUs), ASV air handling units (AHUs) and Multizone AM air handling units (AHUs).
The units were manufactured with G5 & f5 filters and frames, 60mm double skin as standard, EC fans wired to an external e-box, LED lights wired to an external switch, portal windows on doors, 200mm base frames.
